From Reflection to Connection: The Ripple Effects of the LIVE Project
Over the past months, the LIVE Project unfolded as an inspiring journey into the world of multilingualism, youth empowerment, and intercultural learning. With participants from diverse backgrounds and organisations committed to inclusive youth work, the project created more than just activities—it built bridges between cultures, voices, and ideas.

Living Languages, Living Experiences
One of the most powerful aspects of LIVE was its focus on linguistic and cultural self-awareness. Through tools like Language Portraits (Brigitta Busch) and Linguistic Living Spaces (Carola Koblitz), participants explored how language shapes identity, belonging, and expression. These reflective exercises sparked deep conversations and have since been turned into a downloadable handbook—now being used by youth workers and educators across Europe.
Dialogue, Innovation, and Insight
Workshops like “Inherent Language in Education” invited young people to rethink communication, bias, and problem-solving from a multilingual lens. Using tools such as Menti, we collected insights showing how different cultural frameworks lead to unique perspectives—but also how shared challenges create common ground. These findings were compiled into a report, widely shared among educators and NGOs.
Digital Impact: The LIVE App
Technology played a key role in the project’s sustainability. Together with Wonders of Milas, we initiated development of the LIVE App, designed to support multilingual dialogue and digital learning. The first iteration of the app has already sparked interest among youth organisations, and its future versions will incorporate gamified reflection tools and AI-supported interactions.
Real Connections, Real Collaborations
What started as an Erasmus+ project quickly grew into something larger. Participants stayed connected through WhatsApp groups, shared memories via social media, and formed lasting networks. Many were affiliated with other NGOs and the Linguistics Department of the University of Vienna, sparking new project ideas already in development. The closing event at Europa Erlebnis in Vienna brought it all together—celebrating youth voices and strengthening European identity in a space that embodies cooperation and hope.
Looking Forward
The LIVE Project showed us what happens when creative methods meet motivated participants: shared growth, fresh ideas, and collective impact. As follow-up collaborations emerge and tools like the LIVE App continue to evolve, the project’s legacy lives on in conversations, classrooms, and communities.
Whether you're a youth worker, a teacher, or a curious learner, the resources and stories from LIVE are now available to explore, adapt, and share.
