Empowering Multilingualism: Join the Live Project for Vibrant Education

The LIVE training project harnesses AI to create an inclusive, adaptable, and empowering space for language learning. Rooted in the concept of iLanguage and following the success of the CALA workshops in Vienna, LIVE transforms emotional safety into digital accessibility. It recognizes the unique language needs of each individual and prepares participants to become changemakers in their multilingual communities.

In today’s globalized world, multilingualism is not only an asset—it’s a reality. For many migrants, it’s also a daily challenge. The LIVE training project (Linguistic Integration through Virtual Environments) is built on the belief that learning a new language should be empowering, not intimidating. It’s a training made for real life, rooted in innovation, inclusion, and empathy.

LIVE was born out of deep reflection and field experience. Based on the concept of iLanguage, developed in Dr. Carola Koblitz’s doctoral research, it evolved through hands-on work in multicultural Vienna. The iLanguage Association, in collaboration with IRARU.ORG, launched CALA (Creative Approach to Language Acquisition)—a workshop series co-financed by the cultural department of Vienna’s 9th District. These workshops combined linguistics, pedagogy, and art therapy to create a space where migrants could reconnect with language in a positive, emotional, and empowering way.

The results were striking: participants regained motivation, self-confidence, and a sense of belonging. However, art therapy-based formats can be costly and difficult to scale, which limits their accessibility.

That’s where LIVE comes in.

The LIVE project builds on these successes but transforms the format into something scalable and widely accessible: an AI-powered virtual learning space that offers the same values—safety, adaptability, and empathy—through intelligent technology. With no pressure, no judgment, and the ability to repeat, explore, and progress at your own pace, AI becomes an ally for inclusive language education.

Importantly, LIVE recognizes that there is no “one-size-fits-all” German. A teenager, a nurse, a construction worker, and a university student all need different linguistic tools. LIVE supports these individual paths, helping participants not only improve their own skills but also become multipliers—bringing what they’ve learned to their communities.

Join us in LIVE, and become part of a vibrant, multilingual future where language is not a barrier but a bridge.
